X-Factor Communications, LLC (“X-Factor”), the wholly owned subsidiary of X-Factor Communications Holdings, Inc. (OTC: XFCH), a premium provider of interactive digital media software and services over its dmcp:// Digital Media Control Platform announced today they have recruited James Sheehan as Vice President of Product Development. Former Executive Director of Technology for Boston-based Steward Healthcare and healthcare information technology consultant, Mr. Sheehan brings 17 years of industry experience and market insight to X-Factor Communications.

Mr. Sheehan is part of the X-Factor team attending the 2013 International MUSE Conference, where the company will be demonstrating its digital media publishing & distribution platform including mass notifications, emergency alerts, and intranet integration.

“We are delighted to welcome Jim to the team,” said Charles Saracino, X-Factor’s CEO. “Jim brings on the ground experience as well as an extraordinary vision for how real-time communications can improve patient care, hospital performance, and bottom line results.”

X-Factor’s intuitive mass notification and digital media solutions help hospitals and healthcare facilities disseminate real-time messages and alerts connecting clinicians and front-line staff to SharePoint or intranet resources, improving operational efficiency and maintaining Joint Commission compliance and regulatory standards. In addition, X-Factor’s easy-to-use, interactive platform helps communications professionals and IT teams create and deliver “any content” quickly and easily into SharePoint or any Intranet environment.

“I’m excited to join X-Factor’s team and bring these products to the healthcare sector,” Mr. Sheehan said. “Having been responsible for overseeing customer service and IT operations, as well as being part of IT Administration, the benefits of the Digital Screen Control Portal are clear and will be of great value to the industry. With single point broadcasting to a widespread audience, or precision messaging to a targeted workgroup, the benefits extend beyond publishing patient safety best practices and industry compliance information, to emergency communication and crisis management.”

The company will be demonstrating new features including mass notifications to any connected device, including digital signs, desktops and mobile devices, as well as its new integrated intranet solution which works with Microsoft SharePoint and other in-place intranet platforms.

“X-Factor’s unique technology ensures easy integration with our marquee DSCP:// Digital Screen Control Portal application,” Mr. Saracino continued. “Healthcare organizations can simply and cost-efficiently maximize their existing investment in SharePoint, IT and corporate communications initiatives by adding visual messaging that people pay attention to.”

These new capabilities will be shown on Samsung SAFE Galaxy Tablets, building on development being done with GENBAND, a global leader in smart networking solutions and GENBAND’s Innovation Exchange members, announced last month as shown here: http://www.genband.com/media-center/press-releases/genband-launches-innovation-exchange-marquee-members-deliver-differentia
